Each row is a recipient; each column is a merge field. Reference any column in your subject or body and Emerge fills it in per person.

• Sends from your Gmail

  Messages are delivered through your own Gmail account, so your From address is a real, authenticated identity — not a relay. Set a sender name and reply-to, or send from a verified alias.

• Live per-recipient preview

  See exactly what each person will receive — fields, lists, and tables fully merged — before a single message goes out.

• Queued, quota-aware sending

  Large campaigns send in batches on a schedule so they stay within Gmail's daily limits and keep going even after you close the sheet.

• Open & click analytics (optional)

  Turn on tracking and Emerge sets up a Google Analytics property for you, then shows opens, clicks, and recent activity right in the dashboard.

• Smart defaults

  Your Google profile name pre-fills the sender field, sample data shows the merge syntax, and a setup checklist tells you exactly what's left before you can send.

• Everything stays in your account

  Templates and settings live with your spreadsheet; mail goes out through your mailbox. There's no external account to create and no data parked on our servers.

What this is not

• Not a bulk-spam tool. You mail people who belong in your own sheet, from your own mailbox, subject to Gmail's sending limits.
• Not a shared relay. Every message is sent through your authenticated Gmail account.
• Not a contact-scraping or list-buying service. You bring the recipients.

About this add-on

Emerge: Mail Merge is a Google Workspace add-on that runs inside Google Sheets. It reads the recipients and template from your spreadsheet, renders a personalized message for each row, and sends it through your own Gmail. When you enable analytics, it provisions and reads a Google Analytics property on your behalf so you can measure opens and clicks.
