Send with Mailjet from Emerge
Mailjet, by Sinch, is an email service popular in Europe for both marketing and transactional mail. Connect its Send API to Emerge and send through your Mailjet account and authenticated domain.
Why use Mailjet with Emerge
- Teams already sending through Mailjet
- EU-based senders
- Using Mailjet's free allowance as a sender
- Your domain and reputation stay yours — Emerge adds contacts, templates, campaigns, automations, tracking and bounce handling on top
1. Get your Mailjet credentials
- 1
Copy your API key and secret key
In Mailjet open Account settings → REST API → API Key Management (Primary and Sub-account). Copy the API key and the secret key — create a sub-account key if you'd like one just for Emerge.
2. Authenticate your sending domain
SPF, DKIM and DMARC are what let inboxes trust your mail — without them it’s far more likely to land in spam.
- 1
Authenticate your domain
Open Account settings → Senders & Domains → Add domain, then set up SPF and DKIM authentication with the records shown. Mailjet only sends from addresses or domains you've validated.
3. Connect Mailjet in Emerge
In Emerge, open Senders, click the provider's button and fill in the form. Emerge checks the credentials with the provider before saving anything, and stores them encrypted.

- Secret key
- Next to the API key.
- From email
- A validated sender address or one on your domain.
Then send yourself a test email from the sender’s row. You can add more senders to the same pool — Emerge rotates between them and moves on if one fails or hits its limit.
4. Report bounces and complaints back
In Mailjet open Account settings → Event notifications (webhooks) and paste the URL from Emerge's Senders page → Bounce reporting → Mailjet for the Bounce, Blocked and Spam events.
Once bounces come back, Emerge stops sending to those addresses, and pauses a campaign whose bounce or complaint rate gets too high.
Good to know
- Your Mailjet plan's daily and monthly limits apply — set a daily quota on the sender in Emerge to match.
